The Master of Science (MSc) in Business Management is a postgraduate qualification which is specifically designed to develop a rigorous understanding of core business principles, leadership, leading towards effective decisions that responds to dynamic and external environments.
The MSc programme of studies enables students to develop an analytical approach to evaluate contemporary business issues. It will allow the participant develop management expertise by an in depth understanding of operations, finance, strategies, international markets, culture and human behaviour.
It is unlike the MBA which is about broad based management. The MBA is considered appropriate for professional with significant work experiences. The MSc in Business Management is about research and an in depth study of management theories with a focus into specific business areas, exercising methodological rigour. The MBA is about skills development through understanding practice.
The MSc graduate is prepared for roles in organisations that demand specialist knowledge and problem solving skills. It can serve as the platform for the graduate to undertake further research or consultancy in the specialised fields.

Online MSc Programme Structure
Our MSc programmes require the completion of 90 ECTS comprising 6 courses (each 10 ECTS, totalling 60 ECTS) and a final project (dissertation) of 30 ECTS, tailored to your organisation within your chosen specialisation. Courses are modular, delivered over 8-9 weeks with assignments, case studies, and online discussions. The entire MSc, including the final dissertation, is expected to be completed within 18 months. The final dissertation involves an online viva voce (oral defence). Assessments throughout the MSc include case studies and coursework assignments.
Eligibility
Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least two years of relevant professional experience. Professional qualifications in any discipline are also considered.

MSc degrees awarded will reflect your chosen specialisation and dissertation topic. For instance, selecting Digital Transformation as your specialisation will result in the degree title: Master of Science in Digital Transformation.
